A high-protein source for feed and more
Groundbreaking advances in plant breeding have made canola meal one of the most widely used protein sources for animal feed.
Canola meal is palatable and non-toxic, with low levels of gluconsinate and an excellent amino acid profile. When used in dairy rations, it can increase milk production by one litre of milk, per cow, per day.
Other uses for canola meal include high-quality organic fertilizer. In future, canola meal may also be used as a protein isolate for human nutrition.
