CASA recommends safe pesticide practices – The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) outlines what employers and employees must do when using, handling or coming into contact with controlled products, including chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides or fungicides: have appropriate WHMIS 2015/GHS training, review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the product(s) being used or stored, and use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for job tasks.
