Irrigated Crop Production Update 2024. Thursday, January 18 at the Lethbridge Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre. Originally led by the Government of Alberta, this conference is now hosted by Lethbridge College in collaboration with farmers, industry, government, and academia. The one-day conference will feature sessions about water allocation in times of drought, strategies and tools to better manage irrigation and irrigated crops, pest management on irrigated acres, and information about snowpack conditions and forecasted water supply for 2024. The event has been approved for 2 Pesticide Applicator Credits and 5.5 CCA credits (4 Soil & Water, 1 IPM, 0.5 Crop Management). Early bird pricing is in effect until December 20 for ‘General Admission’ tickets. Registration and information.
