Canola Watch Webinar Series – Canola organizations will co-host six webinars through the winter. The next one is February 24 “Pesticide update: With a herbicide focus” at NOON CST. Registration and information.

Learn to Lead – Saskatchewan, March 18 & 19, 2022. Application deadline is February 4, 2022. Funding for research. The Canola Council of Canada is calling for Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the anticipated 2023-2028 Cluster program. LOIs are due March 7.  Please see extensive guidance on LOI submissions here, and the LOI template here. Ag Policy and Your Farm – webinar series – February 2, 9 and 23, 1:00 pm CST. Canadian Canola Growers Association, SaskCanola, Alberta Canola and Manitoba Canola Growers will host three policy webinars in February. The first is What’s on the Horizon for Rail Transportation is February 2. Influencing Policy in a Changing Landscape is February 9. Navigating Grain Contracts is February 23. AgH2Onward  – Multiple dates posted for January to March. AgH2Onward is a free two-day online workshop (approx. two hours per day) offered throughout 2022. The workshop is based in Saskatchewan and is useful for anyone on the Prairies. It provides an introduction to innovative agricultural water management solutions that will strengthen your farm and ranch operations. Information and registration.

2022 Northern Soil Compaction Conference – January 26-27, 9:00am-1:00 pm each day. This event is co-sponsored by University of Minnesota Extension, North Dakota State University and Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development.  A total of 5.5 CEUs are available for CCA’s (4.5 SW, 1NM) Information and registration.
