CCC Convention: Focus on international relationships

The 2020 Canadian Crops Convention this March in Vancouver will take a multi-lens approach to international relationships and markets with expert speakers and informative topics, including:

  • Canada’s role and influence internationally: The Hon. John Baird, former Minister of Foreign Affairs
  • Canadian competitiveness: Nicole Verkindt, founder of Offset Market Exchange
  • Global economic outlook: Pedro Antunes, chief economist for the Conference Board of Canada
  • Oilseed and grains supply and demand: J.P. Gervais, chief ag economist for Farm Credit Canada

The Canadian Crops Convention is hosted by the Canola Council of Canada and the Canada Grains Council and attracts people from across the grain, oilseed, pulse and special crop value chains to improve dialogue and gain insight into advancements in agriculture, while inspiring continued collaboration towards the growth and profitability of Canadian crops.
