An agenda highlight will be the panel discussion titled: Innovation in agronomy tools in a changing regulatory landscape. Both in Canada and globally, the agriculture industry is seeing increased scrutiny of existing practices and products, as well as more stringent regulation of new and novel products and traits. This has led to increased cost, both in agronomy products and tools as well as registration costs for new technologies. What does the future look like for agronomy tools? The panel discussion will feature Sarah Mukherjee (UK Crop Protection Association), Christy Morrissey (University of Saskatchewan), Peter Brander (Pest Management Regulatory Agency) and Chris Anderson (Bayer Canada).
