CCC Convention: Partnering with the Canada Grains Council

This year’s Canola Council of Canada Convention in Montreal March 5-7 is a combined event with the Canada Grains Council Symposium.

The unified program, called the Canadian Crops Convention: Leading Change, will attract people from across the grain, oilseed, pulse and special crop value chains to:

–network, coordinate and improve dialogue
–discuss and gain insight into advancements and trends in agriculture
–be inspired to continue a collaborative approach to advance the growth and profitability of Canadian crops

The Canada Grains Council is an organization of grain industry interests representing producers, crop input companies, grain companies, processors, end users, government departments, financial institutions, regulatory agencies and others. The CGC coordinates efforts to increase the sale and use of Canadian grain in domestic and world markets.

The Convention speaker line up includes:

Armando Rosales, director of commodity purchasing with Bunge in Mexico, as part of a panel of export customers providing their perspectives on Canadian products.

Justin Kingsley, brand expert and former creative director with the Montreal Canadiens, on “Change or die”. He will explain how to move from surviving to thriving in a world that keeps on challenging the status quo.

Chantal Hebert, Toronto Star national affairs writer, on what’s making news across the country and how political developments are impacting Canadians.
