Choosing events: What do you need to learn this winter?

Think of one or two management areas you’d like to improve heading into 2018. Do you want to improve canola emergence rates? Improve nutrient use efficiency? Reduce harvest losses? Try some on-farm testing?

This exercise can help you decide which farm events to attend this winter, and what sessions to attend at those events.

Farmers and agronomists have many opportunities this winter to learn through live presentations, Q&A sessions and conversations with experts. The following events have strong canola themes and CCC agronomy specialists will be speaking at many of them:

canoLAB – Saskatchewan canoLAB is February 21-22 in Saskatoon. Manitoba canoLAB is March 14 in Brandon and March 15 in Dauphin. Registration has not begun yet for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Alberta’s canoLAB will be part of Alberta Canola’s FarmTech booth.
