Terry Youzwa has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Canola Council of Canada (CCC).
Youzwa is a Director on the SaskCanola Board of Directors and he farms near Nipawin, Sask. He succeeds Pat Van Osch who finished his term as Chairman. Van Osch remains on the board as a Director.
“On behalf of the board, I want to extend our sincere gratitude for Pat’s service as Chairman,” says Youzwa. “He provided exceptional leadership during a time of change at the CCC, and he was a model of collaboration throughout his term.”
Youzwa says he is looking forward to working with the Board of Directors as the industry continues to work toward its target of 15 million tonnes of sustainable production and demand by 2015. “I thank the Board of Directors for their confidence in me and I look forward to collaborating with them to set the direction for our industry post 2015.”
