The rates set forth in this rate card are effective with the Sept/Oct 2007 issue of Canola Digest. Announcement of any changes to these rates may be made at any time but will be made at least 60 days in advance of the cover date of the first issue to which such rates will be applicable. If a rate adjustment is made under this clause and is not accepted by the Advertiser, the Advertiser may cancel a contract without short-rate adjustment, except to multi-year discounts. No cancellations accepted after official closing date. See issuance and closing dates for details. No extra charge for bleed advertisements. Rates quoted are for space only and assume Advertiser supplies complete material. Accounts payable at office of publication in Canadian funds, or equivalent funds, at the rate of exchange prevailing at time of payment. Agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the Publisher. The acceptance or execution of an order is subject to the Publisher’s approval. The Publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on contracts, orders, or copy instruction that conflict with the Publisher’s policies. The word “Advertisement” will be placed above copy which, in the opinion of the Publisher, resembles editorial matter. All advertising is published with the understanding that the Advertiser and/or its Advertising Agency assume full liability for all advertising submitted, printed or published. The liability of the Publisher for any error for which it may be held legally responsible will not exceed the cost of the space. electronic files, key numbers or type set by the Publisher, or any error caused as a result of bookings or advertising material received after material closing date. All advertising insertion orders are subject to the condition that the Publisher shall have no liability for failure to execute accepted advertising orders because of acts of God, governmental restrictions, fires, strikes, accidents, or any other occurrences beyond the Publisher’s control (whether like or unlike any of those enumerated herein) which prevent the Publisher from partially or completely producing, publishing or distributing Canola Digest. The Publisher will not be responsible for any advertising materials not requested for return within one year of previous usage. All advertising material produced by Canola Digest will remain the property of Canola Digest until paid for, in full, by the Advertiser. |
